Through our two acres of woods there are several groomed trails that allow for wonderful exploration of all the nature that surrounds us. Walks are always supervised by school staff. We go on “listening walks” to hear the sounds of nature, explore the inside of logs, notice mushrooms and fungi growing, look for the homes of small animals, and through all the senses discover the richness of the natural world. The following photos will give you an idea of what the children experience in the woods.
